Elena became involved with the Apollo Beach Women's Group, LLC, thanks to founder Solangel Bell. When Solangel moved her family back to Panama, she entrusted Elena with the group's leadership and ownership due to her dedication and experience in fostering women's connections in the community.
At 50, Elena launched her second career in real estate after spending 30 years in marketing, public relations, and sales. She has been a full-time REALTOR® specializing in residential buying, selling, and investment properties. Community service has always been her passion. Elena served as Chairperson of the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and founding President of the Upper Tampa Bay Rotary Club. Because of her contributions to the community with these organizations, Elena received the IASIS Chairman's Award for community service and was granted a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow. She is currently a board member of The Tampa Club, a private club in the heart of downtown Tampa, where she chairs the Epicurean Club. Elena and her husband, Robert, an Army veteran, volunteer for Post 9/11 Veterans and are part of the Advisory Council. They also co-chair the Friends of the Foundation for Advent Health Riverview. The Paredes' believe in the importance of volunteering and contributing to the community through philanthropic efforts.
Elena was inspired to continue the mission after witnessing the growth of the network and its significant impact on its members. This mission was established in 2020 by Sol Bell, Jennifer Shaw, and Elena Jones, who worked together to turn their dream into reality.​

Our mission is to create a sense of acceptance and belonging among women in our community. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment where women can connect, support one another, and feel valued. We believe that when women are seen, accepted, and appreciated, they can genuinely thrive together.
